A Day at the Park

Breeya looked between the two and listene to them intently, wondering what this old man sold. She had never had ice cream before. When Zoey gave her the bowl, she smelled it instinctively. It smelled strongly of fish. With a grin, she took one large spoonful. Giggling she ate bite after bite. And than she turned to Frank. "It's really good!!! I've never had anything like this before."

"Hey now slow down. You don't want to get brain freeze." Zoey giggled watching her sister eat. "I knew you would like it."

"Neeehhhh" Breeya whined, holding her ears to the top of her head. It hurt so bad. "Why does it huuurrrttt?"

Frank chuckled and Zoey busted out laughing. Frank got up and got Breeya some water from the tap. "Put your thumb on the roof of your mouth and press."

Breeya's tails swung in irritation at the pain and did as she was told, opening her mouth and pressing the top of her mouth. "Vell dees..." She started despite the thumb in her mouth, but she found it had dissipated soon after she did this.

Zoey continued to eat her ice cream and couldn't stop smiling. She loved how her sister didn't know many of these things about everyday life that she did cause now she gets to show her and teach them to her. But she wished that they could have share them together.

"So you eat it slow and it doesn't hurt?" Breeya asked, poking what little of her ice cream that was left in her bowl with the spoon cautiously. It had melted quite a bit now so it probably wouldn't be cold enough anymore to give her a brain freeze. Of course the young catgirl didn't know that. In many ways, she was still just like child.

"Yup. Slow and steady prevents brain freeze." Zoey smiled at her sister and took another spoonful of her ice cream and licked it off the spoon.

"Oh, okay." Breeya said with a smile, removing her spoon and licking the rest of the ice cream out of the bowl like a real cat would.

Zoey reached across the table and petted her sister's head. "You're so cute, but your gonna get ice cream everywhere hun." Zoey giggled at her sister.

And get it everywhere she did, all over her face and in her hair. Surprisingly not on the table though. Breeya removed her face from the bowl and licked her lips, purring contently and grinning at her sister.

"Look at you." Zoey giggled. She grabbed some napkins out of the canister on the table and wiped Breeya's face off, just like her dad had done to her many of times. "You'll have to take a shower as soon as we get home otherwise you'll get sticky and smelly."

"You don't like the smell of fish?" Breeya asked, blinking and staying still for Zoey. She smiled, her tails curling into a question mark for back and forth. "I had a good time.."

"I figured you would, and the smell of rotting fish isn't exactly appetizing to me." Zoey smiled at her sister. "Well it's getting late. Need any help cleaning up Frank?"
"Nah, not tonight. Thanks for asking though." Frank smiled and got up. "I'll walk you ladies out."
"Alright if you say so." Zoey threw away the bowls and spoons and headed for the exit. She hugged Frank before she walked outside and waited for Breeya. "Goodnight Frank. Oh hey, would you be interested in going to a show at the Opera house to benefit the needy families here in the city. Breeya's adoptive parents owned the Opera, and now it's hers, and you know Dad used to have all that property. Any money Breeya and I raise we are gonna match it by donating the land for shelters to be established around the city. I'll be performing and so will Breeya. It will truly be a show of wonders."
"I'd love to, and I'm sure the misses will as well. Count us in." Frank smiled at the girl.
"We'll reserve the best seat in the house for you." Zoey smiled at the old man and hugged him again. "Thanks Frank."

"I guess not." Breeya giggled, for the moment enjoying the residual smell of fish wafting off of her. She was disappointed when Zoey said it was already time to leave, bit it was getting late. The catgirl smiled and hugged Frank again herself. "Goodnight. That ice cream was really great. Everyone must love it!!! It was good meeting you and we will be seeing you soon. I'll send you a special invitation."

Zoey walked out with Breeya and the two went back to the field. Zoey played the Widow again and away they flew, this time heading for home. The night was still young. They had much planning to do.
